We want to recruit a team of volunteer ‘Dengineers’ to help us transform a classroom into The Roost. Open to parents and carers and to the wider community. The Roost will be a nurturing and creative space for pupils to take time away from the classroom, that supports well-being and SEND needs. Volunteers will learn and practise design and making skills supported by professional artists, whilst creating an exciting, new area for our school. Activities take place in Twerton and at Little Lost Robots’ Old Printworks Arts Studios in Radstock! Transportation is provided to and from Twerton Infant School, in good time for afternoon pick up. Snacks and refreshments are provided, alongside all tools and materials and professional guidance. No experience necessary. We just ask for a willingness to be involved and available between 10-2pm on the these dates: Thursday 16th January Friday 17th January Thursday 23rd January Friday 24th January Thursday 30th January Friday 31st January Have a go at Interior Design and designing and making decor Home makeover techniques Painting and decorating Woodwork and carpentry Scenic design and textiles Funded and produced in partnership with Bath Spa University. Automation Week 4, 5, 6, 7 March 10 until 2pm. Join our pop up robot lab for a week of collaborative learning, making and testing robots!
Playfully bring to life simple structures with moving parts and automation.

Create! Residency
