A non-binary, traveller artist brought up on a council estate. Ruby is a keen advocate and activist for human rights, creating fairer opportunities for people limited by socio-economic factors. In particular invisible inequalities for ‘outsider’ communities. Ruby is an experienced sculptor, designer and metal fabricator with speciality experience in creating large-scale, free-standing, immersive art work, circus sets and outdoor theatre, where complex and weatherproof engineering and rigging is crucial. Alongside this Ruby is a senior creative producer, facilitator and educator leading Bath Spa Universities’ Community Learning and Culture West teams and specialising in engagement and education work with traditionally hard to reach groups.
